VIDIZMO Portal Navigation Guide for Enterprise Tube

This article provides a comprehensive overview of the EnterpriseTube portal interface. Use it to familiarize yourself with the main navigation areas, key pages, and common actions so you can move through the portal with confidence.

Note: Your portal interface may include additional features based on your product plan. If your plan includes Redaction, you will see redaction tools such as the Redact button and Studio Space on the playback page. If your plan includes Intelligence Hub, you will see options for chatbot, agent management, and workflow configuration in your navigation.

Portal Interface Overview

The EnterpriseTube portal is organized into three main areas:

  • Top navigation bar contains the portal logo, search bar, and quick-access buttons for features like the chatbot, workflow queue, and your profile.
  • Side navigation panel is a collapsible panel on the left that provides access to your portals, admin tools, and portal-wide links.
  • Home page is the main landing area that displays featured media, content carousels, featured categories, featured portals, and a tag cloud. Administrators can customize the home page layout from Portal Settings.

Home Page

When you first land on the portal, the home page displays several customizable sections.

A carousel at the top of the home page highlights content that administrators have marked as featured. You can scroll through featured items and select any to open its playback page.

This section displays portal categories that administrators have chosen to feature. Select a category to browse its content.

If your account has multiple portals, this section showcases portals marked as featured. Each portal card displays the portal name and basic statistics. Select a portal to switch to it.

Most Recent Media

A carousel that automatically displays the latest content uploaded to the portal.

Most Viewed Media

Tag Cloud

A collection of keyword tags used across the portal. Tags appear in varying sizes based on how frequently they are used. Select any tag to filter content by that keyword.

Note: The sections visible on your home page depend on how your portal administrator has configured the layout. Some sections may not appear if they have not been enabled or if no content has been featured.

Top Navigation Bar

The top navigation bar is always visible across all pages. From left to right, it contains:

  • Menu icon opens or closes the side navigation panel.

  • Portal logo displays your portal branding. Select it to return to the home page.

  • Search bar lets you search across your Media Library. Select the sliders icon to access advanced search filters.

  • Chatbot opens the AI chatbot side panel for conversational assistance.

  • Workflow queue shows the status of content processing workflows currently in progress.

  • User profile displays your profile picture or initials. Select it to open the profile menu.

Some elements in the top bar, such as the chatbot and workflow queue buttons, are visible only if your account has the required permissions.

Side Navigation Panel

Select the menu icon (three horizontal lines) at the top-left corner to open the side navigation panel. This panel provides access to all major areas of the portal.

The side navigation panel includes the following sections:

  • Home returns you to the portal home page.

  • Portals expands to show all portals available to you. Select a portal name to switch to it, or select All Portals to browse the full list.

  • Admin expands to access administrative tools:

    • Media Manager lets you manage all uploaded content, including organizing, reviewing, publishing, and archiving media.
    • Users and Groups lets you add, remove, or manage portal users and security groups.
    • Portal Settings lets you configure portal branding, navigation menus, publishing rules, and other customization options.
    • Control Panel lets you access system-level settings including security policies, storage providers, encoding, CALs, and email configuration.
    • Reports Dashboard lets you view portal analytics and usage reports.
  • About Us displays the portal's About Us page (if configured).

  • Contact Us opens the contact form to reach portal administrators.

  • Download Desktop App lets you download the VIDIZMO desktop application for Windows or Mac.

    Side navigation panel

Use the search box at the top of the side panel to quickly filter menu items by name.

User Profile Menu

Select your profile picture (or initials) in the top-right corner of the navigation bar to open the profile menu. This dropdown is divided into three sections:

Profile Actions

At the top of the menu, you can see your name, email, and last login time. The following actions are available:

  • Manage Profile opens your profile settings to update personal information.
  • Change Password lets you update your account password.
  • Language lets you switch the portal display language.
  • Notification Settings lets you configure your notification preferences.

My Library

This section provides quick access to your personal content:

  • Learning Plans shows learning plans assigned to you.
  • Shared with me shows content shared with you by other users.
  • Favorites shows content you have marked as a favorite.
  • Uploads shows all content you have uploaded.
  • My Activity tracks your media consumption progress.
  • Archived shows content that has been archived.

Support

  • Help opens the VIDIZMO Knowledge Base for documentation and guides.
  • Sign Out signs you out of the portal.

User profile menu

Playback Page

Select any content item to open its playback page. The playback page is organized into the following areas:

Player area is the main section at the top that displays the video, audio, document, or image player.

Content details appear below the player and include:

  • Content title
  • Author name
  • View count and upload date
  • Category
  • Tags
  • Description (select more to expand)

Action buttons are a row of buttons that let you interact with the content:

  • Like lets you like the content and displays the current like count.
  • Download lets you download the media file to your device.
  • Favorite adds the content to your favorites for quick access.
  • Share lets you share the content via a link or social media.
  • Add to Playlist adds the content to a private playlist.
  • Add to Collection adds the content to a collection.
  • More options (three dots) provides additional actions such as Edit Media Settings, Embed, Report, Studio Space, and Add to Learning Plan.

Insights panel appears on the right side of the playback page and provides the following tabs:

  • Transcription lets you view and search the full transcript.
  • Chapters lets you jump to specific chapter bookmarks.
  • Summary shows an AI-generated summary of the content.
  • Identified Objects shows AI-detected objects and faces.
  • Related Media shows content related to what you are watching.
  • Comments lets you read and add comments on the content.

Playback page

Adding New Content

To add new content, select the Add New Media button (a square with a plus icon) available on the home page and in the Media Manager. This opens the Add New Media page, which presents the following options depending on your product and feature configuration:

  • Upload Media lets you upload video, audio, image, or document files from your device. You can also drag and drop files directly onto the upload area.
  • Create Playlist lets you create an ordered list of your existing content for sequential playback.
  • Setup Live lets you schedule a live streaming webcast to broadcast on a specific date and time.
  • Create Collection lets you create a collection of your digital assets grouped together for a specific purpose.
  • Create Quiz lets you create a quiz using multiple choice or descriptive questions.
  • Import SCORM lets you import SCORM compliant learning content developed in tools like Articulate or Captivate.
  • Create Survey lets you create a survey using multiple choice or descriptive questions.

Add New Media page

The tiles visible on this page depend on your portal's product type and enabled features. Some options may not appear if the corresponding feature is not activated for your portal.

Media Manager

The Media Manager is the administrative interface for managing all content in your portal. To access it, go to Admin > Media Manager from the side navigation panel.

Content Tabs

The top of the Media Manager page displays tabs to filter content by status:

  • Add New Media lets you upload new content.
  • Review shows content waiting for moderator approval (if content moderation is enabled).
  • Drafts shows content saved as draft and not yet published.
  • Published shows all publicly available content.
  • Expired shows content past its expiration date.
  • Archived shows content moved to the archive.
  • Recycle Bin shows deleted content that can be restored or permanently removed.
  • Comments shows the pending comment moderation queue.

Filters Panel

On the left side of the Media Manager, a filters panel helps you narrow down content:

  • Categories displays a tree view of the portal's category hierarchy. Select a category to filter content within it.
  • Status lets you filter by content status (Published, Draft, Expired, and others) using checkboxes.
  • Scan Status lets you filter content by malware scan results such as Clean, Infected, or Not Scanned.
  • Format lets you filter by media type such as Video, Audio, Document, Image, or other supported formats.
  • Author lets you filter content by the user who uploaded it.
  • Access Type lets you filter by content visibility such as Public, Private, or Restricted.
  • Media State lets you filter by the current processing state of the content such as Ready, Processing, or Failed.
  • Tags lets you filter content by assigned tags.
  • Processed State lets you filter by AI processing state such as Transcription, Redaction, Clipping, or Face Detection. Each state shows a count of matching items.

Search Media

A search bar is available beside the view mode toggles at the top of the content list. Use it to search for specific content by keyword within the Media Manager.

View Modes

You can switch between different display modes using the view toggles:

  • Detail view is a table layout showing columns for Title, Uploaded By, Last Updated, Category, and available actions.
  • Tile view is a grid of content cards with thumbnails.
  • Compact tile view is a denser grid layout for browsing larger volumes of content.

Select one or more items using the checkboxes to reveal the bulk actions sidebar on the right, where you can perform actions on multiple items at once.
